Kiev is my sweet home town where I grew up. It’s located on the beautiful banks of Dnieper river in northern Ukraine. Its population is around 4 million people, making Kiev the seventh-most populous city in Europe. I love Kiev for a lot of things, but today I want to devote my work to the beautiful names of various places in Kiev. And not just geographical names from a regular map, but toponyms made by locals.
